Pepsy GPS devices determine their location by communicating with orbiting GPS satellites. This data is transmitted to your smartphone via the cellular network (LTE). Each tracker is equipped with a built-in SIM card that can connect to various local networks. Unlike Bluetooth beacons like Apple's AirTag, Pepsy GPS devices work at any distance as long as there is sufficient cellular coverage.

Pepsy GPS devices have a built-in SIM card (like a smartphone), allowing them to connect to local mobile networks to transmit their location. The subscription covers all communication costs. This means you can locate your pet anywhere in the world, with no distance limits. The subscription can be canceled at any time.

An AirTag mainly works over short distances — you need a nearby compatible Apple device to get a location. Pepsy uses GPS and the mobile network to show your pet’s real-time position with no distance limit, wherever Pepsy coverage is available (multi-operator SIM included).

Tracker battery life varies depending on the model, local network coverage, and usage. Creating a power-saving zone can significantly increase battery life. Typically, a dog GPS tracker lasts about 16 days per charge, and a cat GPS tracker lasts about 6 days (due to its smaller size).
